Biography
Malik Najr Al-Dulbahi is a distinguished director, producer, and creative figure in the field of animation and visual content creation. With extensive experience and notable contributions both locally and internationally, he has made a significant impact on the industry. He began his career as a graphic and animation designer at Leo Burnett (2006–2007) before working as a brand expert at Zain (2007–2009), where he refined his technical and artistic skills. In February 2014, he founded Myrkott Animation Studio and served as its Chief Creative Officer until July 2024, leading the production of distinctive animated works that showcased his unique artistic vision. In September 2020, Netflix signed an exclusive five-year partnership with the studio to produce Saudi content. His talent in voice acting was evident through standout roles in works such as Masameer County, Masameer: The Movie on Netflix, and Ya’rob, highlighting his versatility as a creator. In 2023, he directed his first live-action film, "Ras B Ras", which premiered on Netflix on August 3 and achieved widespread success. This marked his seamless transition from animation to cinematic directing. In February 2025, he launched Maroudan Studio, a platform dedicated to producing innovative films for global audiences, furthering his mission to elevate Arabic content on the international stage. Malik is regarded as a symbol of creativity, leaving a lasting impact on the world of animation and cinema through projects that ignite the imagination and shape the evolving artistic landscape.
