Biography

Sedly Bloomfield grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where the essence of his character was stimulated by a unique melting pot of culture. After graduating from Erasmus Hall High School at the age of 17, he attended The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute while running his own dance and acting club in Brooklyn. He would later attend the University of New Haven to complete his education with a degree in Communications. Sedly transcends the fascination process of storytelling through his acting, especially the way in which an actor reveals himself, sub-texting a take on a story using the fabric of his own life and temperament. A Leading Character actor with strong presence and charismatic appeal, Sedly caresses the language and has a great sense of ease. He has lent his own personal touch to such stage roles as Oscar Charleston in Cobb, Captain Davenport in A Soldiers Play, and Hoke in Driving Miss Daisy. His film credits include work as Detective Foster in Small Potatoes by Horizon Films, William Calhoun The Struggling Father by Jungle Walls, and the Not-So-Perfect Dad in Barriers by ABC Films. He's had television appearances on All My Children, Torchwood, The Get down, Luke Cage, The Americans, Manifest, and Wu Tang. His main passion at this point in his career is screen work - both film and television. Show Time ( Lets Share The Love)
