Biography
As an actor, director and producer, Marisa has worked extensively in the professional theatre scene in Vancouver, most recently performing in the Critic's Choice-nominated Little One and Jordan Hall's Kayak. She is currently (2015) Artistic Producer of Alley Theatre. On screen, she has appeared in Stargate Universe and the recent Canadian feature Lawrence & Holloman. Marisa was nominated for a "Critics Choice Innovation Award" for her production of Mrs. Warren's Profession, and in addition to that site-specific live performance, Marisa co-executive produced the convergent interactive website and documentaries for mrswarrens.ca. Marisa is a BFA graduate of the University of Victoria and is a winner of the Joanna Marrata Award and the Cultchivating the Fringe Award.
